Part-5

Hi All,
So part-5 is here. i will like to share a tragedy with all of you that happened today when i was about to finish this part. I did a "ctrl-z"  and all the things that i wrote suddenly disappeared. Before i did "ctrl-y" to bring everything back, the "automatic save" functionality saved the blank page. Oh no.. i was in serious trouble. Immediately  i talked to "Sumit" our senior who is in microsoft. He told me that nothing can be done now. From next time whenever you write, dont use browser directly. 


As i remembered significantly whatever i wrote, it didn't take so much time to write it again. Only 3 hours... hehehehe ;)

Me: Hey coming .. will take another 2 minutes.....


Mukesh: Ok... 


Me: Mukesh... i reached near the main gate... but i cant see you...


Mukesh: I am at a speed limit board here which says "Max speed 20 km/h"


Me: Oh.. got you... M coming... 


Mukesh: hey aaloo... what happened??? you are no more aaalooo ??  may i know the reason of this kind of metamorphosis??


Me: Nothing yaar.. just got influenced by roomie.. he goes to gym everyday.. so i give him a company...


Mukesh: But i think that you are not influenced by your roomie... if guys are going to gym.. specially fat ones like you then definetly its under some girl's influence... Oh no... this is "prachi effect" or what???


Me: No comments ;) ...  you are in a mood to continue the discussion standing here only or we should go to the hostel??


Mukesh: Yeah ofcorse... but i m felling a bit hungry... 


Me: You are late man... its alerady 6.30 .. i dont think we will get anything to eat rite now in the hostel... anyways we can go to that dhaba... on the other side of the road... that one.. 


Mukesh: But it seems like a telephone booth... 


Me: hehehe ... Its the most famous dhaba rite here .. "Munna dhaba"... C'mon we will go there and will take something...


Mukesh: Oh.. such a huge rush... i cant see any vacant place... 


Me: Actually today is tuesday.. and on tuesday we are served with cream rolls in the mess... i dont know what they fill inside it.. its so horrible in taste.. and moreover guys feel a bit embarrassed while eating cream rolls as compared to girls.. :D .... Dont worry .. we will go upstairs... eating in open air... infact is much better than eating here... 


Mukesh: Ok... the place is nice... i like it...



Me: Yeah .. you will like it till you eat something... So what you will like to eat??


Mukesh: So many items... strange .. such a small dhaba serving so many things... m a bit confused.. u better decide...


Me: yeah... But all the items tastes same... i will take parathas... it is both economical and safe... "aaloo paratha"


Mukesh: Ok... i will also go for aaloo paratha... 


Me: Ok... i will order... 


Mukesh: So , that fat guy is "munna" rite??


Me: No yaar... he is the manager here... no one in the campus exactly knows that who is munna... i heard sometimes back that he is one of the member of "board of director's " of our college.. he is running this resturant as a side buisness....


Mukesh: Sounds intresting... so the parathas are here .. looking nice... but the tomato sauce is not looking nice... what kind of stuff is this... not even coming out...


Me: Actually its neither tomato nor sauce.... it is something else..


Mukesh: Then what??


Me: Actually these guys got a patent filed in their name for making such a "look alike" of tomato sauce .. it is healthy, low in calories, and easily digestible... and still it is not tomato sauce.. they follow a special procedure while making it... i know the summary... they first boil "kaddu" (bottle gourd) ... and they mash it just before mixing it with red color... 


Mukesh: i can think of one more advantage associated with this kind of sauce.. see its specific gravity is so low... it means that even a very small quantity of this sauce can occupy 1 kg bottle... so it is efficient in terms of the volume that it occupies as compared to its weight... 


Me: Great observation mukesh... u guys are really geeks...


Mukesh: C'mon rohit ... Such a small observation cant make me a geek.. if it would have been so then the manufacturers of this sauce  are a bigger geek than me... You know me for such a long time .. almost more than 10 years... and as i remember you always scored more than me in maths.. i dont know from the time i got into iit.. people think that i am something out of human race... its not like that...


Me: Hehehe.. i know you are so humble to say all this... :)


Mukesh: hmmmm ... chalo we are done with the parathas... not bad... i liked it... 


Me: You want to take something else or what??


Mukesh: I also didnt like it so much that i will order something else... 


Me: hehehe.. ok then .. lets go :)



Mukesh: so where is your hostel??


Me: its not very far... we can easily walk till there.. c'mon


Mukesh: Ok... 


Me:  This is my hostel...  


Mukesh: Nice.. dint take so much time to reach... 


Me: Mukesh.. this is my roomie .."deepu"... 


Mukesh: hi deepu.... nice to meet you....


Deepu: nice to meet you too.... mukesh i have heard that kgp's LAN is having terabytes of porn... So you got something hot for us??


Mukesh: hahaha..Yeah.. but u should have told me to have something hot for you before i started for ranchi... u are late man... but dont worry.. when i'll be back to kgp... i will mail you all the latest ones which are best rated in our campus... 


Deepu: Oh.. Thanks a lot... i will eagerly wait for that day... So u here for bitotsav?? as rohit told me... 


Mukesh: Yeah.. one of my college friend... she is going to perform tomorrow.. thats why...


Deepu: Who is she???


Mukesh: Prachi...


Deepu: ahem!! ahem!! ... Oh.. rohit is also so much excited about that performance... i hope that his excitement almost doubled after he heard that you are coming for the same cause... hahahha.. hope you guys have a good time together... :P ... anyways m going to my friend's room.. all three of us cant sleep in the same room... and moreover i dont want to disturb you guys for the strategic plans that you are going to make for tomorrow... bye.. good night

After dinner
Mukesh: The food was quite good as compared to our's hostel food... liked it....


Me: really nice to hear... for the 1st time i got someone's view which is quite similar to my view regarding the hostel food... so would you like to go on walk...


Mukesh: yeah sure..


Me: Ok.. lets go... 


Mukesh: So what else???


Me: Nothing yaar..  you told her that you reached the college??


Mukesh: Yeah.. i called her... and i told about you also... 


Me:Oh.. seriously?? .. what you told about me??? what she asked about me?? She knows about me or what??


Mukesh: Control rohit... i told that you are a very good friend of mine.. and i am staying with you... and she dont knows anything about you... 


Me: Oh... :(  ... so when you are going to meet her??


Mukesh: She told me that she is going to be very busy tomorrow.. so we cant meet during the day time... most probably after her's dance performance in the nite... it is scheduled at 7 rite?


Me: Yeah... at 7...


Mukesh: But how you know???  she was telling that around 15 events will be there... 


Me: actually.. i saw the schedule.. and i remember the timings... 


Mukesh: Strange.. you were not that much good at remembering things in the school....


Me: So from when you know her??


Mukesh: from the time we joined our intermediate.. i mean since class 11th.. we were in the same class...  


Me: Ok...


Mukesh: You know... i remember that moment when i saw her for the 1st time... she came in the class and just sat adjacent to me... as there was no other place left... then she asked for a pen....



Me: So what you did??


Mukesh: I gave my pen to her... and from that moment only we started talking... after some time we became very good friends... and after some time.....


Me: What?? after some time what???


Mukesh: After sometime i started feeling for her... i dont know what she feels for me... but i like her.. i think that she also likes me... 

Mukesh: rohit rohit.... what happened??? 


Me: nothing.... not feeling well.. 


Mukesh: Why??


Me: i think i ate a lot... 


Mukesh: Ok... lets return to the hostel if u r not feeling well....


Me: No its ok... you can continue... so when you are going to propose her????


Mukesh: I dont know.... may be when i will feel that she loves me... 


Me: Ok.... All the best!!!


Mukesh: Thanks... you know she wants to meet you....


Me: Really??? 


Mukesh: Yeah... She wants good friends here .... 


Me: She dont have any friends here??? i have heard that she is having a long list of friends... particularly boys...



Mukesh: No... after some time everyone of them proposed her which led to their breakup... So i thought of introducing her to you... you guys are from same place also... wat u think??


Me: Hmmm... Ok... But if i propose her then???


Mukesh: hehehehe... if she says "yes" then i will be happy... 


Me: seriously??? 


Mukesh:Yeah... Atleast she will get a guy who is as good as me... :P


Me: Oh really??? hahahah... Dont worry.. i will keep in mind that you like her :D

Me: we reached the hostel.... 

Mukesh: yeah.. i am feeling sleepy... a bit exhausted due to the long journey...

Next day at 6 Pm

Mukesh: So when we are leaving for the venue??

Me: At 6.30 ... the venue is open air theater (OAT)... not far from here.. will take around 10 minutes to reach there...

Mukesh: Ok.. great.... 


Someone knocked at the door ... 


Abhi: Hey rohit... coming for bitotsav ??


Me: Hi abhi...  he is mukesh... my school friend... 


Abhi: oh mukesh .. nice to meet you yaar... rohit already told me about u....



Me: oh really.... so you are also joining us for the bitotsav??


Abhi: Yeah ofcorse...


Me: Mukesh... wait for 2 minutes.. we are coming ... 


Mukesh: Ok


Me: Abhi actually your guess was right .. he likes her... 


Abhi: Oh no... anyways i will keep that in mind..


Me: Thanks..


Mukesh: what u  guys are discussing in that corner???  what so private??

Me: nothing yaar... lets go... we are going late...


After we reached the OAT... 


Mukesh: its 6.45... so another 15 minutes... i will see her after such a long time... cant wait... 


Abhi: both of you are so impatient... i can see similar expressions on the faces... hope those feelings which led to these expressions are not same ;)


Me: hehehe.. where is deepu??


Abhi: he made some girlfriend in iran on yahoo chat... he was busy with her... not coming here..


Me: Ok


Suddenly an announcement was made... " the next dance performance is from prachi.. 2k4 batch" . Series of whistles followed the announcement...


Mukesh: I didnt know that she is having such a big fan following here...


Abhi: You dont know many things mukesh... :)


Me: hey she started...


Abhi: oh my god... she dances so well ... really awesome.. 



Mukesh: She even won a president's award for dancing...


Abhi: Oh really?? the way she is dancing its not a surprise that she got a award from the president..... see the confidence, rythm, beat and the co-ordination with which she is dancing... amazing.... the crowd is going mad... rohit what's ur view??

Me: let me watch... dont disturb...


Abhi: hahaha... 


After the performance was over...

Part-4

Hi All,
So part-4 is here. 
Thanks to all of you for the motivating comments. It would not have been possible for me to continue and reach till part-4 without all of you. The interest that you guys are taking is the only sheer force which is pushing me to write even further after each and every part. I hope that i will be able to keep up with the expectations that you all are having from me in the upcoming parts.

One more thing i would like to say that the names of all the characters are arbitrarily taken. I hope you can understand that i cant take the actual names.

Who is he?? i asked with a hope of him being her's brother....

Abhi: you remember i told you about a guy from mechanical whom she is seeing nowadays... 
He is our immediate senior.... Actually he is a senior member of BIT"s dance club....  and as all of us know about her's dancing skills ;)


Deepu: Yeah... i have also heard that she is one of the best dancer in the whole campus and a very active member of the dance club.... But they cant be simply friends... see their body language.. it is saying all.... rite rohit??

Shut up .. i dont know.... Mite be they are here for some common reason.. like some dance event or anything like that... see they have lot of stuffs with them...

Deepu: That common reason can be sex also... see the polythene bags they are carrying... from my experience i can say that those bags contains sex toys.... see the shapes coming out of those bags...

*BITOTSAV

BITOTSAV is a cultural fest that is conducted every year in-spite of lack of sponsors and funds... All the students in the campus are particularly excited about this fest... but the reasons are different... 1st year and 2nd year guys participation is very heavy as they think that it will help in their placements... that organizing committee badge on their shirt make them feel that they are really organizing something out of box... specially girls when they are given complete freedom to reveal their beauty in saree.... as it is said that beauty always sells... BIT fests are not an exception... At the main entrance only girls are given the charge to lure the guys to participate in the events... anyways its the basic rule and everyone follows that... 3rd and 4th year guys are excited about this fest because of the off classes they get during this period so that they can do their extra curricular activities like sleeping after lunch... the whole fest continues till 4 days and 4 nites... u can see a really good interaction among people whether they are teachers and students or boys and girls during this stretch... but if you are a prize winner in any of the event during BITOTSAV then be ready for that ’pauua’ tag :P

Abhi: So how was your movie deepu...??

Deepu: Can't be more worse.... you know these "mini sujata" telecasting crew are a big time cheater... you know the stuff for what we go there comes like advertisements in a TV serial...  so in all if you take the whole movie of 2 hrs... only 15 mins was worth sitting there.. anyways wat abt urs?? .... and what happened to you rohit??? saying nothing ... u didnt get anything to eat inside or wat???

Abhi: He he ... actually he got many eatables with him but infact was unable to eat..

Deepu: Why??

Abhi: Her "Dream Girl" was with her "Dream Boy" just sitting next to our row....

Deepu: hahahahahaha..... Ok .. see rohit ... If u have already decided to fall in love then you have to see a lot of such moments in future... still you have to live with a hope.... so dont bother so much untill and unless you come to know that they have crossed the final line... if you havent seen both of them in each other's arm during the movie... i hope u didnt see it rite?

No .. i didnt see anything like that... during some of the hot scenes also they were maintaing a distance... 

Deepu: hahahah !!!!  ....... Still i think that if you really want to proceed, you have to be a bit fast... and you only have to approach... dnt thnk anytime that she's gonna come to you and will propose you or even ask for friendship... sharukh khan was also not that much lucky.. i hope you are getting me...

and one thing to add that if only one guy is accompanying her for a movie and that also in ranchi then definetly something is goin on between them...

At 11.30 in the night on the same day i got a call from an unknown number... When i picked up the phone... someone said... hello aaloo !! how are you...  ???

Me: Who is this?? Sorry i did not recognise you... and why you are calling me as aaloo??

Abey you forgot your nick.. i only gave you that name when we were in school... and the reason was very obvious... hehehehe

Me: Oh.... you mukesh.. sorry yaar ... was not able to recognise you ... heard you after so many years... i m doin fine ... wat abt you??

Mukesh: Am also fine... So you in BIT Mesra rite???

Me: How you came to know?

Mukesh: From orkut... :) ...  even i got your cell number from your orkut profile...

Me: Oh... So where are you nowadays and doin wat?

Mukesh:  I am in IIT Kharagpur... doing my btech in computer science ..

Mukesh: She is prachi.... we were in the same class in class 12th.... Mite be you know her... She is in pharma there...

Me: Yeah i know her... today only i saw her in ranchi....  I love her....

Mukesh: Whattttttttttttttt??

Me: I mean ... she is so beautiful... anyone can so easily fall in love with her.... by the way it is really good to hear that you know her...  So when you are coming ....

Mukesh: She told me that she will perform in some dance nite which is on wednesday... so i will reach there on tuesday evening.. and i will stay with you... hope you dont have any problem...

Me: Sure yaar.. Its my pleasure...  :) .. i am so happy..

Next Morning in the mess during breakfast

Abhi: Today we have applied physics lab rite??

Me:  yup... but dont ask why it is called applied physics... hey, I cant see your lab journal...

Abhi: Yeah.. I will buy....

Me: But when you will write the experiments ??

Abhi: In lab only... when you guys will be busy doing experiments with that haunting devices....

Me: We are in same group rite??

Abhi: yeah.. so what??

Me: abhi today we have to do our experiment in the black room... u mite have heard about that room...the walls of that room is made of some material having highest specific heat capacity to absorb maximum heat from the surroundings.... actually the architect of that room wanted that no light should enter the room... but he forgot to think that air should enter ..... actually he is a pass out from our college architecture department only... anyways we have to do continue doing experiment in that room for another couple of weeks ... So from next time it will be better that you write.. i mean copy one day before only....

In Black Room

Abhi: Hey rohit .. i am suffocating... i cant breathe... where is the exit?? i cant see anything...

Me: Well you can see these laser lights with zero divergence...  hehehehe ;)

Abhi: hey i am serious ... i want to go out...

Me: Ok... come with me ...

As i opened the door... it took around 3 minutes for our retina to adjust so that we can see anything...

Suddenly... a lab assistant came running to us...

*Lab Assistant are the only guys in our college who are able to take correct readings in all the existing laboratories in our college with the state of art facilities. Professors are extremely jealous of them... as they overtook all the profs in terms of respect from students... some of them are so kind that they cant see a student in any kind of trouble in lab exams.. so they voluntarily help them by doing their experiments... the way they handle CRO's (cathode ray oscilloscope)...  is unimaginable... so fast, so accurate... its like they know the exact position of CRO's knob where you will get exact figures... taking maximum out of those apparatuses which were made of metals sometime when we were not born and are now dominated with the percentage of metal oxide in them... Hats off to all of our lab assistants... :)

He shouted... What you guys are doing here????  Go inside the black room...

Abhi: We were feeling like suffocating inside... and we were not able to get a single reading.... which was even close to the desired values... so we just came to ask u...

You guys know nothing... i dont know how you got admission in such a reputed college.. come i will show you how to take readings...

He did some adjustments... and then he said... now take the readings...

Abhi: Wow... we are getting the exact results... thanks a lot...

Abhi: Done with the dinner???

Me: Yeah... lets go for the walk....

Abhi: Ok

Me: Today we will 1st go to the OC.... will take some tea.. its so cold.. then we will return hostel via the institute...

Abhi: Ok we will take that route... anyways you looking so excited today... what happened...??

Me: You will not believe abhi.... yesterday night i got a call from one of my school friend.. we were classmates for 10 years...

Abhi:  So what... ??

Me: Actually he is in IIT KGP.... and he is coming to our college in BITOTSAV....

Abhi: Hehehehe... Strange!!....  anyways...  continue...

Me: And you know why he is coming...

Abhi: Why?

Me: He is coming for her...

Abhi: Who???

Me: Arey wahi... who is my dream girl.... :)

Abhi: Wow ... i cant believe.... see yesterday i was telling about that common friend thing... and today only you got that favor from god.... thats really really great... good going man.. when he is coming??

Me: He is coming on tuesday...

Abhi: you told him about your feelings for her??

Me: No .. not yet... but i will tell... let him come 1st....

Abhi: hey we reached OC... lets take the tea...  "bhaiya do chaay"....

Me: so 4 more days... and then i will talk to her... :)

Abhi: what is the name of that guy??

Me: Mukesh....

Abhi: Ok... i hope that he dont have any feelings for her... otherwise its going to be tough for you...

Me: Yeah... but the way he talked i dont think he is having any feelings for her...

Abhi: rohit dont be so positive everytime.. anything can happen... anyways i hope that whatever happens it will go in your favor...

Hi All,
So finally part-3 is here.

I am really thankful to all of you for taking out time from your busy schedule and going through my blog. I am amazed by the overwhelming response i am getting from all of you and that only ignited a spark to write further.

At 11.30 during lunch

Abhi: So what happened ? Talked to her?

No... Actually she didn't come to the class today... 

Abhi: Oh.. It means u didn't talk to her.. Rohit i don't think that going directly to her and saying anything will be a rite step to take to get yourself introduced to her rite?... She will think one more "aashiq" got added to her's list... aise bhi  i have heard that everyday one new guy approaches her for friendship...... Think of something else.. something out of box... something that will force her to give you special attention among her friend's if you are in her's friend list.....

Yeah Abhi you are rite... Actually i lied... She was there in the class and even i followed her after the class for sometime but finally i gave up... she walked so fast... :(

Abhi: Don't lie that you followed her... i know that u just cant go like this and talk... and in fact it makes no sense to go to someone without any reason and say "hello" .... and specially girls when the reason is so obvious then also u get a "So" in response.... that's y think for a better way to talk to her ... but dont take too much of time.. i have heard that she is already seeing some guy... our senior... a guy from mech branch... anyways we are going to ranchi for a movie today evening...are you coming with us?

Ok..... but who all are coming...??

Abhi:  deepu and myself .... i think that deepu will divert himself to "mini sujata"... and will not join us in the movie.....

After Classes at 5 PM in the evening at PMC (Piya milan Chowk) waiting for the Bus:

*For those who are not from BIT :)
First when i heard about PMC i instantly decoded it as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry..... But later i came to know that it stands for "Piya Milan Chowk" in the correct sense... :) 

Actually PMC is the place in the heart of our campus where guys wait for two things... buses and girls... buses because its a bus stop where BIT buses take turns at a speed equal to √ μrg  just before actually stopping... i mean at a maximum speed before it can topple... :P and girls because "valid" entry to girl's hostels starts from here... the gate at the entry is having a board on which "No Entry" is written... Actually this "No Entry" is for all the male species residing in our college campus... But our male profs who take advantage of their position... and the male dogs ... who take advantages of many things ;) are always first in breaking this rule.....  I specially mentioned about PMC because this jargon will be used at many places in the upcoming lines.... 

"Sujata" is the name of most famous movie theater in ranchi comprising of two screens... the main screen where both boys and gals can go.... and the other screen named as "mini sujata" where only boys can go...

Abhi: Hey bus is coming..... i don't think we will get a seat as usual... anyways let's try...  C'mon guys i think we are at the right position... the bus will stop here only...

Deepu: Fuck off!!! Not for a single time yours suggested right position was actually right... everytime in the last we had to run due to you... and finally we ended up standing in the bus rite?

*GEL CHURCH COMPLEX is the most famous so called "shopping mall" in ranchi ... It is famous for "Kaveri" .. the best vegetarian restaurant in ranchi and "krishna" .. another vegetarian restaurant which always tried and still trying to compete with kaveri.. but never succeeded :)

  

It is mandatory for all the existing couples in ranchi to visit this shopping complex.. So if you are in ranchi and you are having a girlfriend then you have to come here one day.... 

When it comes to our college couples... then it is a point for them to come closer.. and some of the couples that never existed in the college campus can be easily pointed out here.... :)

At 9.05 in the night
Me and Abhi on a walk after taking the dinner...

Thank god they didnt put potatoes in the dal.... it is the only food item in which i dont find potatoes.. and abhi you know that on an average each guy takes around 10 trucks full of potatoes during 4 years but still they dont go fat.....actually these potatoes are low calories especially cultivated in BIT potatoes farms..... and about rotis.. oh my god.. bring anyone to our mess... they will realise how difficult is to get a roti directly from the kitchen... u know a guy snatched a roti from my plate sayin that he came first in the kitchen... seeing these monkeys in half pants struggling to get a plate, spoons is really a fun.... and u know seeing at that sauce bottle i came to know that birlas are into this industry also....

The only thing that i enjoy here is going on a walk with you after dinner.... during nite the whole campus is like a film studio.... so silent .. so dark.... thanks to the low power consuming lights here... the lazy trees with their weak branches everytime trying to fall down on someone's head... the old buildings with new paint on them.... and that ray of light with minimum wavelength originating from the centre of our institute like a small sun trying to give a ray of hope which will not die in case of any power failure.. ... m i rite regarding the minimum wavelength ?? rohit i think that this question was sumwhere in my mock CAT... still m not confident.. :( anyways u can continue....

one thing i will like to disclose to you if u promise me that u will not say it to anyone... i promise rohit.. abhi said with hand on his throat...
u know the days on which we have non veg... i mean on wednesday and sunday's, they write down the roll no. for each non veg plate... rite? yeah they do ... abhi said.
u kno abhi sumtimes i said wrong roll numbers... mainly of gals... hahahahha
